College recruiting is a high-stakes, high-stress process. Athletes need a way to stand out and take control of their own journey. Coaches need an efficient way to discover talent that fits their program. NXL Recruiting needed to serve both sides while staying true to its mission: empowering athletes to reach the next level.oward contact.

I directed the brand development, creating a visual identity that resonates with athletes and coaches alike. For the web app, I designed a user-centric interface that makes building a standout profile intuitive and rewarding. The marketing site strikes a balance between inspirational and informative, showcasing success stories while clearly explaining how the platform works for each audience.

Designing for a two-sided marketplace like NXL Recruiting means understanding two distinct user journeys. For athletes, the platform is about taking control of their future. The profile-building process had to be engaging and empowering, not just another form to fill out. Every interaction is designed to reinforce the idea that this is their space to showcase their best self.

For coaches, efficiency is key. They need to find the right fit for their program quickly and easily. The discovery interface is built around filters and quick scans, so coaches can drill down to their ideal recruit profile in just a few clicks.

Tying it all together is the brand identity. The visuals had to speak to both sides of the marketplace… aspirational enough for athletes, professional enough for coaches. The result is a vibrant, dynamic identity that reflects the excitement and energy of the recruiting journey, while still conveying the seriousness of the process.
